There is a temptation when you go to college to feel pressure to “find your significant other.” Because this is ingrained in our minds, thanks Hollywood, freshmen begin dating early in their college days and sacrifice forming a deep community.If you are still in high school, and are dating someone from a different school or city, it can be hard to have the same kinds of relationships as your friends who choose to date people at the same school.To maintain a relationship, you have to have a positive attitude, support one another, communicate regularly, and visit each other when you can on weekends and breaks. Dating is less than a century old, and the Scriptures were written thousands of years ago. This will produce good fruit in your life now and through the years to come. It’s hard to discuss the topic of dating biblically because the Bible doesn’t say anything about it.On the other hand, 3000 miles of separation is no joke.Moving onto the next stage of your life, should you leave your high school boyfriend behind?
